Mrs. Groseclose's Class
Reading Language Arts/Social Studies
I am so excited about the upcoming school year...my new classroom, the new team of fourth grade RLA teachers, and especially my new students!
I began my educational career with RFISD in 1988 relocating from Michigan for the job. Falling in love with this small coastal town and my school family, I decided to stay.
My husband and I have two children. Our son just graduated from Texas A & M with a degree in ecology and conservation biology. Our daughter is also an Aggie currently pursuing a degree in sports management.
My first year of teaching, I came across this quote in a book I was reading by Dr. Howard Hendricks:
"I would rather have my students drink from a running stream than a stagnant pool."
While I have been teaching fourth grade for MANY years, I am constantly striving for better ways to reach and teach my students. I want to remain that running stream!
