Introduction

Welcome! I am Amber Gips, your Fulton Elementary 3-5 Reading Language Arts and Social Studies Instructional Coach. I have been in the district for nine years and am a former Fulton Learning Center Teacher of the Year and HEB Excellence in Education award recipient. My husband Brett and I have two wonderful children, Brielle and Brooks.

 

I'm here to partner, collaborate, and support our teachers with a student learning focus. I am also a partner to our teachers in CCT to support the goals of professional learning communities.

 

The core role of my work is to partner with teachers in an impact cycle. An impact coaching cycle allows teachers and instructional coaches to collaborate in identifying reality, set goals, choose teaching strategies to reach those goals, monitor progress and reflect until goals are achieved.
