Meet Miss Sims

Hi! My name is Ms. Sims, and I am so excited to start my career teaching 4th grade! I graduated May 2026 from TAMUCC with my Elementary Education degree. I have always had a passion for working with children and helping them discover how much they are capable of accomplishing. 

 

I am especially excited to grow alongside my students this year. My goal is to create a classroom where everyone feels safe, loved, respected, and encouraged to be themselves. I believe that mistakes are a part of learning, and want my students to know that they can always ask questions, try again, and challenge themselves. 

 

When I am not at the school, I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy staying active in the gym and doing Bible study! It is my favorite thing to make memories with the people I love (that includes your kiddos). I cannot wait to get to know each of my students and make this a year full of learning, laughter, and growth. I'm so happy you're here!
